The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University has achieved a distinguished academic accomplishment by securing first place among Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering departments in Iraqi universities, according to the results of the accredited academic evaluation (National Ranking).

This achievement reflects the continuous efforts exerted by the department’s academic staff and employees, their commitment to advancing the scientific and research standards, developing academic curricula, and enhancing the quality of specialized engineering education in line with approved national standards.

The Deanship of the College of Engineering, represented by Professor Dr. Ayad Murad Takhakh, and the Head of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Fahad Muhannad Kadhim, affirm that this achievement serves as a strong motivation to continue diligent work and to further strengthen the path of excellence, in alignment with Al-Nahrain University’s vision of academic leadership and community service, particularly in the medical and humanitarian engineering fields.
