As part of the ongoing efforts to monitor the educational process and welcome new students, Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University, conducted an inspection visit to the first-year students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was accompanied during the visit by the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering.

At the beginning of his tour, the Dean warmly welcomed the new students, wishing them a successful academic journey filled with achievement and excellence. During the meeting, Dr. Takhakh engaged in a direct conversation with the students to learn about their needs and requirements, affirming that the College’s administration and all departments are fully prepared to provide every form of support and guidance necessary.

The Dean also highlighted the importance of the university stage as a fundamental turning point in a student’s life, encouraging them to make the most of the facilities and opportunities available within the College and the Department—especially in a vital and future-oriented field such as Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Takhakh praised the pioneering role of the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University in graduating highly skilled and distinguished cohorts, attributing this success to the strong academic standards and reputable educational programs offered by the university. He reaffirmed the College’s commitment to providing high-quality education that keeps pace with global developments, ensuring the preparation of well-qualified engineering professionals for the job market.
