Under the patronage of the College of Engineering and the supervision of the Department of Architecture, the Iraqi architect Dawood Salem Mohammed was hosted in a lecture titled “Creativity and Innovation in Architecture and the Stages of Distinguished Design” on Thursday, 6/11/2025.
During the lecture, the architect discussed the fundamentals of creativity and innovation in architectural design, as well as the key stages that can be followed to produce an outstanding project. He also addressed the basics of working within architectural offices in Iraq and the Arab countries, and the essential principles that enable an architect to succeed in professional practice.
A selection of artistic and architectural works designed by DARTEC Engineering Consultancy was also presented as part of an exhibition held in the Department of Architecture.
The lecture received great interaction and engagement from students, faculty members, and the esteemed attendees.
