The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics
Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University organized, on
Thursday, November 6, 2025, a scientific workshop entitled The workshop presented the general concept of Armstrong,
a company specialized in advanced pumping systems, highlighting their unique
features and the use of sensor-less control for efficient operation. It also
demonstrated the remote monitoring application that enables real-time
supervision of pump performance and system details.
The event aimed to strengthen students’ understanding
of modern smart pump technologies and their integration with artificial
intelligence and control systems, contributing to the enhancement of their
skills in industrial automation and intelligent control.
"Armstrong Design Envelope Pumping with Integrated Sensor-less
Control",
delivered by Asst. Lecturer Abdul-Muhaimin Basim Qasim, with participation from
a guest lecturer from the United Arab Emirates, and attended by the Dean of the
College of Engineering, faculty members, and a number of students.
