The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics organized an awareness workshop entitled “The Role of Women in Community Peace and Promoting Social Cohesion” in collaboration with the University Psychological Counseling Unit and the College’s Women Affairs Unit. The workshop was presented by Lecturer Enas Abdulameer Aboud on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Postgraduate Hall.

The event discussed the pivotal role of women in community building and enhancing social cohesion and witnessed active engagement from the attendees. Emphasis was placed on the importance of supporting women’s effective participation in various fields of life.

The workshop was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Fahad Muhannad Kazem, Head of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics, along with a number of faculty members from the department and the college.
