A new collaborative research paper has been published by Dr. Ahmed Adnan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Osama Akram, Dr. Ammar Abdullah, and Asst. Prof. Marwa Faiq from the Department of Chemical Engineering, titled: "Modification of the Zeolite ZSM‑5 Adsorbent for CO2 Capture" The study was published in the internationally peer-reviewed journal ACS Omega, which is indexed in both Clarivate and Scopus, and ranked in the fourth quartile Q1 with a Cite Score of 7.1. This study investigates the development of efficient materials for mitigating carbon dioxide emissions as the rise in greenhouse gas emissions has significantly raised the average global temperature, intensifying the global warming crisis. Addressing this challenge requires substantial efforts from both academia and industry to deliver impactful mitigation solutions. Thus, the development of efficient materials and processes for mitigating greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide (CO2), is of great interest.
