In a move to support sustainable development trends, the Sustainable Urban Development project for the Karada region has been completed and is part of the requirements of the Master's Advanced Urban Design and Architecture course.

The project is one of the contributions of the Department of Architecture at Nahharin University to support the sustainable development trends in Baghdad city through the integration of academic work with professional institutions, where the students presented outstanding products represented in three distinctive design proposals for the Karada region, and this was the result of the diligence of the students, the efforts of the supervisors, and the support of the department's presidency.
