On Sunday, December 16, 2024, the foundational meeting of the Academic Accreditation Report Committee was held at the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering – College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University. This meeting marks the official launch of the department’s efforts to prepare the program accreditation report for the academic year 2024–2025, in alignment with the standards set by the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ICAEE).

During the meeting, the committee established a comprehensive action plan, and responsibilities were strategically distributed among the committee members based on their areas of expertise and academic experience. The goal is to ensure that all ten accreditation criteria are addressed thoroughly, with supporting documentation gathered and organised systematically.

This meeting represents a key milestone in the department’s ongoing commitment to academic quality assurance and continuous improvement.
