Professor Dr. Nabeel Kazem Abd Al-Sahib, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University, met with postgraduate students of the department for the academic year 2024–2025. The meeting was held in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naseer Aboud Al-Haboubi, the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, and a large group of faculty members.

This special academic meeting was part of the department’s ongoing commitment to supporting the research journey of postgraduate students. It was dedicated to guiding students in their research paths and providing advice on selecting scientific research topics and implementing them effectively.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nabeel addressed several key points, including the importance of precisely defining the research problem, formulating clear and testable hypotheses, and adhering to rigorous scientific methodology in preparing theses, dissertations, and scholarly publications.

He also emphasized the significance of selecting research topics that are modern, responsive to societal needs, and aligned with global scientific advancements. He encouraged students to actively engage with their supervisors and to broaden their knowledge through up-to-date scientific resources.
