The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University, under the generous patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, and under the supervision of the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, held scientific discussion seminars for master’s students in the department. The aim of these seminars is to follow up on students' research progress, identify obstacles and areas of weakness, encourage their strengths, and facilitate academic discussions between students and faculty members.

These seminars are intended to foster interaction and the exchange of academic views and perspectives between students and the teaching staff. This contributes to the development of students’ skills, boosts their confidence in presenting their scientific work, and helps them accept constructive criticism, which ultimately enhances the quality of their research output.

Additionally, the seminars aim to encourage students to engage in reputable scientific publishing, develop their research capabilities during the study period, and improve the quality of scientific research within the academic environment.
