Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Tukhakh, and the direct supervision of the respected Head of the Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Sabri Salem, fourth-year students from the Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering participated in the Job Fair and Graduation Projects Exhibition for the academic year 2024–2025, held at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

The students’ participation included showcasing a number of distinguished projects in the fields of remote control and communications, including:

• Wireless remote-control systems using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, enabling device operation and monitoring via smartphone applications.

• A secure digital communication project, allowing encrypted data transmission using modern cryptography techniques.

• A remote environmental monitoring system, based on smart sensors and wireless transmitters for measuring temperature, humidity, and air quality.

• A mobile robot remotely controlled via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, designed for research and exploration purposes.

These projects received positive feedback and admiration from attendees for their technical creativity and practical application of the academic knowledge gained by the students throughout their years of study.

This participation represents an important step in strengthening the connection between students and the labor market, and in preparing them to enter professional engineering environments with efficiency and competence.
