Department Council and Scientific Committee Meeting in the Department of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Engineering

On Sunday 4/5/2025, a joint meeting of the Department Council and the Scientific Committee was held in the Department of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Engineering / College of Engineering / University of Al-Nahrain, with the attendance of all members of the Department Council and members of the Scientific Committee. During the meeting, the most important matters related to the work of the Department Council and its overlap with the work of the Scientific Committee were discussed. Among the most important matters discussed were the following:

1. Completion of the course package for the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Next Thursday has been set for the completion of the course package by faculty members in the department who are assigned to teach the courses for this semester.

2. Preparations are underway to prepare the course package requirements for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year by faculty members in the department who are assigned to teach the courses for this semester.

3. Completion of all GO requirements for the academic subjects for the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025 by the faculty members in the department who are assigned to give the academic subjects in this semester, after which the statistics for each GO will be conducted.

4. The content of the University of Mosul book No. 30, No. 143, dated 4/20/2025, was discussed regarding the creation of two scientific branches in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering / College of Engineering / University of Mosul, and referring the priorities for creating a study of the Drone Engineering branch to Assistant Professor Dr. (Farhan Ahmed Khammas) and referring the priorities for creating a branch of industrial automation and robotics to Assistant Professor Dr. (Samer Jassim Mahmoud) to study all the special priorities by creating two branches and submitting two separate reports for each branch, the reports will be submitted to the department's academic committee to prepare appropriate recommendations for each branch and submit them to the Deanship of the College of Engineering.

5. Discuss the most important work of the Self-Evaluation Committee (SAR) and assign the topics to all committee members to complete the required tasks related to the assigned topic.

6. Some observations were discussed regarding the electronic system for promoting academic promotion transactions in the academic department and college for faculty members, effective from 4/14/2
