Within the initiatives of cooperation and opening with international and local universities, sponsored by the Directorate of the Faculty of Engineering and under the supervision of the Chairmanship of the Department of Architectural Engineering at Nahrin University.Conducted a scientific workshop entitled(Scientific research building for graduate students)Coincidence Thursday 4 /24 with the cooperation of the Polish Academy of Sciences, representative A. Dr.Dorota Woronniecka and Baghdad University representative د. Dr.Ghada Mousa Alsilik and Al-Nahrin University is a representative. د. Dr.Mohammed Qasim Abdul Ghafoor and the presence of professors and graduate students, where a scientific and practical lecture was given on how to build scientific research according to international scientific standards and the brainstorming method, and then the use of identification of real problems and how to convert them into cognitive problems. Determining the main and secondary concepts in order to present research questions and assumptions before determining research objectives, to solve these problems and thus to present the appropriate scientific title for them... Hence the way of selecting a sober scientific journal suitable for this research direction.Where this brainstorm contributed to introducing a new style of scientific research followed by universities and global research institutions, which encourages and enables our students and researchers to log to publication in the global sober scientific space.As part of the initiatives of cooperation and openness with international and local universities, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering and the supervision of the Head of the Department of Architecture at Al-Nahrain University,the scientific workshop titled“Scientific Research Design for Graduate Students”was held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in collaboration with the Polish Academy of Sciences, represented by Prof. Dr. Dorota Woronniecka, the University of Baghdad represented by Prof. Dr. Ghada Mousa Al-Silik, and Al-Nahrain University represented by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Qasim Abdul Ghafoor.The workshop was attended by professors and postgraduate students, and included both theoretical and practical lectures on how to design scientific research in accordance with international scientific standards. A brainstorming approach was adopted, followed by mechanisms to identify real-world problems and transform them into researchable issues, then defining primary and secondary concepts to formulate research questions and hypotheses before determining research objectives, in order to solve these problems and formulate an appropriate scientific title.Furthermore, the workshop addressed how to select a reputable scientific journal suitable for the proposed research direction.This brainstorming process contributed to introducing a new methodology in scientific research followed by global universities and research institutions. It also encouraged and empowered our students and researchers to access and publish in reputable international scientific platforms.
