The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering, College of Engineering – Al‑Nahrain University, organized a field study visit on Monday, 21 April 2025 to the Ministry of Youth and Sports / Department of Scientific Care. The delegation comprised first‑year students accompanied by a select group of faculty members.

The visit aimed to acquaint students with the department’s role in nurturing scientific talent among youth and to brief them on its programs supporting innovation and research—particularly initiatives related to artificial intelligence and robotics technologies. During the tour, ministry officials delivered an introductory presentation on key research projects and technology incubators, followed by an interactive discussion in which specialists answered students’ questions about available training and development opportunities.

Supervising faculty emphasized that the visit aligns with the department’s vision of linking academic study with practical application and enhancing students’ skills through direct exposure to national institutions engaged in scientific research and technological entrepreneurship. At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed appreciation for the warm reception and voiced their eagerness to strengthen future collaboration on joint student projects and innovation competitions.
