On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering organized a scientific field visit to Al-Sadr Al-Qanat Hospital. The visit included first-year students and several faculty members.

The purpose of the visit was to introduce students to the clinical medical environment, the process of delivering healthcare to individuals with disabilities, and the role of prosthetics and orthotics in improving patients' quality of life.

This visit is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to provide students with practical experiences and to expose them to real-world healthcare settings that complement their academic learning.
