On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering organized a scientific field visit to Al-Mutanabbi Street, Al-Qishla, and the Baghdad Cultural Center.

The visit included a group of faculty members along with second- and fourth-year students. The purpose of the visit was to enhance students’ cultural and intellectual awareness and to explore important heritage and educational landmarks in the city of Baghdad.

This visit is part of the department’s extracurricular activities, which aim to bridge academic knowledge with cultural and social life, and to foster the students' skills in various areas that contribute to shaping their scientific and human development.
