Under the patronage of the Deanship of the College of Engineering and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs (Professor Dr. Nasir Aboud Issa Al-Haboubi), the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs (Professor Dr. Haitham Alaa Hussein), and the Head of the Civil Engineering Department (Assistant Professor Dr. Zuhair Khader Allawi), the Department of Civil Engineering held a sabbatical research seminar on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, entitled:

"Evaluation of Different Anchorage Systems for Externally Bonded CFRP with Concrete."

The seminar was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hadi Abdul Rahim, a faculty member at Al-Nahrain University, College of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering. Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hadi presented the results of the above-mentioned research, which he completed during his research sabbatical at the American University of Sharjah. At the end of the presentation, the floor was opened for discussion and exchange of sound scientific opinions on the above research topic and its practical applications in the field of civil engineering.
