As part of its commitment to strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and specialized medical centers, the Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, organized a scientific visit to Inspire Medical Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with insights into the latest technologies and devices used in medical rehabilitation. The delegation included: Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim (Head of the Department) Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud (Department Rapporteur) Faculty members: Dr. Sarah Ashour Hammoud Dr. Safa Laith Keelan Dr. Mahmoud Hameed Majid During the visit, students and faculty members participated in a guided tour of the center, where specialists provided detailed explanations about cutting-edge medical rehabilitation devices, including: The visit emphasized the importance of bridging academic learning with real-world applications, helping students develop practical skills and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges patients face and the role of biomedical technology in rehabilitation.
At the end of the visit, participants expressed their appreciation to the management of Inspire Medical Rehabilitation Center for their hospitality and valuable insights. The department reaffirmed its commitment to organizing similar visits in the future, as such experiences play a crucial role in preparing students for successful careers in biomedical engineering.
