The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized a specialized workshop titled:

"Towards Global Recognition: ISPO and Requirements of Accreditation."

The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Sameea Al-Droobi and attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, the Scientific Assistant Dean, the Head of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Department, the Director of the Quality Assurance Department at Al-Nahrain University, the Head of the Quality Assurance Division at the College of Engineering, along with faculty members and a distinguished group of academics and specialists.

The workshop highlighted the importance of accreditation in enhancing institutional quality, the key standards required for obtaining accreditation, and the challenges institutions face during the accreditation process and ways to overcome them. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Droobi also discussed practical steps for preparing institutions according to international standards, showcasing successful experiences in this field.

The event witnessed significant interaction from attendees, with an open discussion session allowing participants to ask questions and exchange perspectives on effective accreditation strategies.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants expressed their appreciation for the efforts made in organizing the event, emphasizing the importance of such activities in promoting a culture of quality and institutional excellence.
