Scientific Visit Organized by the Biomedical Engineering Department

Under the esteemed patronage of Professor Dr. Juma Salman Jiyad, Dean of the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University, the Biomedical Engineering Department organized a scientific visit to Khadija Al-Kubra (A.S.) Specialized Women’s Hospital.

The visit was led by a group of faculty members from the Biomedical Engineering Department, including:

• Senior Engineer Nadia Ahmed Mohammed

The visit was conducted along with third-year students from the Biomedical Engineering Department.

Objectives of the Visit

During the visit, students explored various hospital departments and examined the modern medical equipment used in the facility. This initiative aimed to enhance students' practical knowledge and bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications. The visit also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4) – Quality Education, by promoting hands-on learning experiences.
