Today (Monday, February 3, 2025), faculty members and students from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University participated in the AI and Robotics Clubs Launch Forum. 

The event was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Artificial Intelligence, “Engineer Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani”, and was organized by the Prime Minister’s Office for Technical, Academic, and AI Affairs, in collaboration with SIPPAR Digital Economy Development Zone and hosted by Al-Farabi University.

Representing the department at this significant event were Lecture Dr. Ahmed Hani Al-Noori and Assistant Lecturer Laith Mohammed Abbas, who actively participated in the forum’s sessions, engaging in discussions on the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. They also highlighted the role of universities in fostering innovation and enhancing students' technical skills.

The forum witnessed a broad participation of researchers, academics, and students interested in AI and Robotics Technologies. 

Several national initiatives aimed at strengthening the digital economy and developing young talents in this field were also presented.
