The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, hosted Visiting Professor Dr. Firas Basim Ismail Al-Nuaimi, Director of the Smart Energy Generation Research Center at Tenaga National University, Malaysia, during his visit to the College of Engineering.

As part of efforts to encourage and strengthen collaboration between research teams, a research group was formed, comprising a distinguished group of specialists in smart energy research, aiming to apply this expertise across various life domains.

During his visit, Dr. Firas Basim Ismail Al-Nuaimi conducted a specialized workshop in collaboration with the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The workshop focused on research areas, particularly the application of smart energy research in the medical field, which plays a significant role in advancing community health and improving human well-being.

Dr. Ismail delivered a detailed presentation highlighting the importance of supporting scientific research to elevate the nation to higher levels by leveraging modern methods and technologies to enhance individual and community health.
