The Department of Biomedical Engineering, in collaboration with the Academic Systems Committee at the College of Engineering, organized a workshop on the Bologna Process. The workshop was presented by members of the Academic Systems Committee, Assistant Lecturer Karam Qais Naji and Assistant Lecturer Maha Sadiq Khalaf. The event was attended by the department head, the department rapporteur, a group of faculty members, and first-year students for the 2024/2025 academic year from both the morning and evening programs.

The workshop covered several key topics, including an introduction to the Bologna Process and its objectives, highlighting important terminology within the system, and explaining its implementation mechanism. The presenters also demonstrated the student application guide within the electronic system. The workshop emphasized acquainting students with the concept of credit hours and study units, focusing on the variety of student activities, such as classroom lectures and extracurricular assignments, like homework and other tasks.

The workshop witnessed significant interaction from students, featuring numerous inquiries and active participation.
