As a part of Al-Nahrain University's vision and its commitment to fostering openness and collaboration with Iraqi, Arabic, and international universities, the College of Engineering - Department of Electronics and Communications hosted Prof. Dr. Firas Basim Ismail Al-Na'imi, Director of the Smart Power Generation Research Center, as a visiting professor.

The lecture, held on Tuesday, December 24, in Dijla Hall from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, focused on advancements and development strategies in the field of sustainable energy. The lecture aims to enhance prospects for joint scientific and academic collaboration between the two universities, thereby strengthening the status of Iraqi universities and elevating their scientific and educational standards amongst their counterparts in the region and around the world.
