Under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College of Engineering, the Civil Engineering Department holds an introductory seminar on solid waste recycling

Under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Juma Salman Jiyad, an introductory seminar entitled "Solid Waste Recycling: An Advanced Step Towards Achieving Sustainable Development" was held in the Civil Engineering Department on Wednesday, 12/11/2024. The seminar was attended by the respected Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Abd, the respected Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naseer Abboud Issa Al-Haboubi, the respected Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haitham Alaa Hussein, and under the supervision of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Zuhair Khader Alawi, with the participation of an elite group of the department's staff and students in this seminar.

Two lectures were given at the seminar by the respected professors, Prof. Dr. Jabbar Hamoud Al-Baydani / Department of Civil Engineering and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali Akram / Department of Civil Engineering, which was held in Dijlah Hall at 10:30 am.
