Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, participated in the International Conference on Ophthalmology, Vision Anomalies, Therapy, and Care (ICOVATC - 24), held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Anas presented her research titled:
"An Intelligent System for Measuring Eye Movement Based on AI Technology."

The study involves the design and implementation of an intelligent system that detects eye movements and records data, including the classification of various eye movements, using artificial intelligence techniques.

This participation represents a significant opportunity for fostering academic collaboration between Al-Nahrain University and universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, thereby expanding avenues for scientific research and elevating the university to the desired academic level.

The research was co-authored by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Qaeq Hussein from the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering and Dr. Lina Nassir Qasim.
