The Department of Biomedical Engineering organized a specialized workshop titled "Medical Endoscopy: Applications and Modern Techniques" as part of its efforts to enhance the practical aspects of student education and connect them with the latest technologies used in the medical field. This workshop aimed to encourage such practical activities to broaden students' horizons and deepen their applied understanding of medical devices. It holds great importance in equipping students with hands-on skills and linking them to the professional field, reflecting the department's commitment to preparing students for the job market. The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Scientific Perfection Office, agents of the global company KARL STORZ, who provided a modern endoscopy device along with accompanying tools for a practical demonstration. During the workshop, Engineer Hadir Moayyed Mohammed, the Medical Devices Laboratory Coordinator, managed and organized the workshop’s agenda and prepared the equipment in cooperation with the company's specialized engineers. The workshop featured a live demonstration of the endoscopy device, where its components, working mechanism, and key medical applications were explained by expert specialists. This provided students with a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the technology used in the medical field. Attendees praised the excellent organization and support that contributed to the event's success, reflecting the department's dedication to offering a comprehensive educational experience that combines theoretical and practical aspects.
