Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Department Discusses the Importance of Studying Abroad in Skill Development

In the presence of Prof. Juma Salman Jiyad, Dean of the College of Engineering, and under the direct management of Prof. Iyad Murad Takhakh, Head of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, a workshop was held as part of a series of activities aimed at enhancing student skills. The workshop was titled:

“Studying Abroad: Personal, Academic, and Professional Development”

The session was delivered by Dr. Mustafa Kanaan, a faculty member in the department. It covered all aspects to consider when applying for study-abroad programs, including those announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the High Committee for Developing Education programs under the Prime Minister’s Office, and direct applications to foreign universities.

The workshop was well-received by the students, addressing their questions and generating significant interest in the topic.
