As part of fostering scientific collaboration and strengthening ties between Iraqi universities, the Department of Biomedical Engineering welcomed a delegation of third-year students from the Department of Medical Devices Engineering Techniques at Uruk University. The delegation was received by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, along with a group of faculty members who expressed their enthusiasm for the visit, emphasizing its significance in enhancing students' practical skills and broadening their understanding of the latest advancements in biomedical engineering. The visit included a detailed tour of the department's laboratories, where students were introduced to the equipment and technologies used in education and research. Comprehensive explanations were provided on how these tools are applied in modern medical practices. The tour also featured practical demonstrations that showcased the integration of theoretical knowledge with hands-on applications, sparking interest among the students and encouraging them to engage in discussions and scientific inquiries. Organizing such joint scientific events aims to promote interaction between similar departments across Iraqi universities and build bridges of collaboration among students and faculty, contributing to the advancement of higher education in Iraq.
