The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering participated in the International Day for Prosthetics and Medical Rehabilitation, organized by the Emergency Medical Operations and Services Directorate at the Ministry of Health. During the event, Engineer Noor Basim Mohammed delivered a lecture titled "Using Human Gait Analysis Devices to Make Diagnostic Decisions." Their presentation highlighted the latest advancements in devices that assist in diagnosing the patient’s condition before designing the appropriate prosthetic or orthotic device. Additionally, several students from the graduate program presented their scientific research on various topics related to prosthetics and orthotics engineering.
