With great warmth and enthusiasm, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering welcomed a new cohort of future engineers on Sunday, November 10, 2024. This event received significant attention through the direct sponsorship and presence of Prof. Juma Salman Jiyad, Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Nasser Aboud Al-Haboubi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Ayad Murad Takhakh, Head of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, along with some of faculty members and engineers from the department.

During the reception, the students were introduced to the importance of the department and its ongoing efforts in serving individuals with special needs and advancing prosthetics and orthotics engineering. A tour of the department's laboratories and facilities was organized, and the event concluded with a celebration of the new students.
