A group of faculty members from the Biomedical Engineering Department at Al-Nahrain University, College of Engineering, under the guidance of the Dean, Professor Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiad, organized a scientific visit to Al-Amal Hospital for Atomic Radiation on Sunday, November 3, 2024. The delegation, led by the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, included Dr. Iman Ghadhban Khalil, Dr. Ala Aid Jabr, and Lecturer Faten Emad Ali.

The visit aimed to foster scientific collaboration and expand knowledge by reviewing the advanced medical devices available at the hospital. The team explored ways to integrate these resources into theoretical and practical training for undergraduate students to develop their engineering skills and to provide graduate students with access to advanced equipment for their research.

By the end of the visit, an agreement was reached to establish a framework for ongoing scientific and research collaboration between the university and the hospital, contributing to sustainable development in the health and education sectors to benefit healthcare and educational institutions across the country.
