The Department of Biomedical Engineering organized a workshop for final-year students titled:

"Applications of 3D Printing in the Medical Field"

The workshop was held in the department’s laboratories on Monday, October 28, 2024, and was delivered by Dr. Safa Laith Kilan. The workshop aimed to introduce students to 3D printers, covering types of printers, the materials used in printing, operation and maintenance of 3D printers, and printing models required for graduation projects. Additionally, it explored the most significant applications of 3D printing in medical engineering and showcased the latest types of 3D printers used in this field.
