The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Al-Nahrain University, under the direction of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiad, and the supervision of the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Anas Qusay Hashim, held an electronic workshop for instructors of the first and second stages on the requirements of the Bologna Process for the academic year 2024-2025. The workshop, presented by Assistant Lecturer Zaid Mustafa Khudair, was titled: "Lecture for Instructors of the Biomedical Engineering Department (First and Second Stages) on the Requirements of the Electronic Bologna Process for the Academic Year 2024-2025."

The workshop focused on providing a comprehensive overview of the requirements of the Bologna Process, including a thorough explanation of the essential information related to the course material, such as educational objectives, learning outcomes, and instructional contents, as well as the adopted teaching and learning strategies. The theoretical and practical curricula were discussed, with a detailed description of the methodologies used in both areas.

Additionally, the workshop included an explanation of the distribution of instructional hours and types of classes, whether scheduled or unscheduled, along with the identification of the core sources and references relied upon in the course material. The distribution of grades according to the formative assessment system was also explained to ensure an accurate evaluation of student performance.

In terms of managing student data, the workshop addressed the steps and procedures followed in the Bologna Process for recording student absences and how to accurately input their grades, emphasizing the importance of continuous monitoring to ensure the effective progress of the educational process.
