Dr. Donia Tahseen Naama, a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, participated as a member of a discussion committee held at the College of Medicine, University of Tikrit. The committee was for the master's student Hadeer Ismail Jassim from the Department of Biochemistry, for her thesis titled:

"Assessment of the Role of Osteopontin and Osteocalcin in Middle-Aged Women with and Without Type 2 Diabetes."

The public discussion took place in the central discussion hall of the college on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nehad Najres Hilal, who holds a board certification in Pathological Chemistry from the College of Medicine, University of Tikrit. Other committee members included Assist. Prof. Mayada Kamel Mohammed (Master's in Community Medicine) from the same college, and Dr. Donia Tahseen Naama (PhD in Clinical Biochemistry) from the College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain, Biomedical Engineering Department.

The thesis was supervised by Assist. Prof. Dr. Ammar Latif Hussein (PhD in Clinical Biochemistry) from the College of Medicine, University of Tikrit. The thesis was accepted, having met all the requirements.
