Engineer Noor Basim Mohammed, a member of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering,  participated in the Health Coordinator Training Course organized by the Ministry of Health. The course aims to qualify and train personnel to act as a communication link between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Health. The role of the health coordinator includes:

  • Monitoring students' physical and mental well-being.
  • Referring students to nearby and appropriate hospitals or health centers based on their needs.
  • Addressing cases of addiction (if present), depression, asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and other conditions.
  • Providing first aid to ensure students' safety on campus.

This initiative highlights the importance of ensuring a healthy and supportive university environment for students.
